The West Bank (The Realm of the Dead)
The morning usually begins here to beat the desert heat. You will explore the funerary monuments of the New Kingdom pharaohs.

Valley of the Kings: The final resting place of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs. You typically visit 3 tombs (Tutankhamun's tomb usually requires an extra ticket).

The East Bank (The Realm of the Living)
After a lunch break (often at a local restaurant or on a boat), you cross to the modern city side to see the grandest temple complexes.
